D J'ing requires knowledge of all types of music, knowing how to read a crowd and knowing what songs to play and when to play them in order to get everyone dancing and keep them dancing. It may sound easy, but how often have you been at a party or dance and the D J plays one or two good songs and get the dance floor packed and then plays something off the wall and kills the party's energy and clears the dance floor? It happens all the time because almost anyone can play a couple of good songs, but a true D J professional knows how to keep the party going all night long.
